Biography
Richard Coronado is a proven Technology Business Management (TBM) professional with extensive experience in technology and financial management. He is a creative thinker, strategist, and philanthropist committed to advancing Latinos in business and supporting underserved communities.
Currently, Coronado serves as Principal of Technology Transformation at Infosys Consulting in Los Angeles, CA. He drives go-to-market strategies for TBM and Cloud FinOps, specializing in tool selection, implementation, and managed services. He has led TBM and Cloud FinOps initiatives across the financial services, insurance, energy, and entertainment sectors, managing IT spend portfolios ranging from $300 million to $2.5 billion.
Coronado earned his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management in 2024, specializing in Technology Management and Leadership. While at Anderson, he was actively involved with the Easton Technology Management Center and AnderTech, and contributed back to the UCLA Anderson Riordan Programs as an alumnus of the MBA Fellows Program. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance, Real Estate, and Law from California State University, Long Beach, earned in 2010.
Coronado's passion for education and leadership stems from his personal journey. His family emigrated from Jalisco, Mexico, to a neighborhood in Los Angeles bordering Inglewood and Lennox. Growing up in a community impacted by violence and crime, he recognized early on that education was key to creating new opportunities. He credits his parents, mentors, and peers for inspiring his success and commitment to giving back.
